Frequently Asked Questions About Our Courses and Academic Guidance

Does the course include UNEDasiss fee management or payments?

No. Official fees are paid directly to UNED. Our service includes step-by-step guidance and review of your documentation to ensure everything meets the requirements before you submit your application.

Is it necessary to speak English?

Not always. We have bilingual teachers and native speakers of other languages. English is generally used as a supporting language for Spanish in the program, but it is also possible to study the program in French or Chinese, for example. If you don’t speak English, we recommend reaching out so we can find the best group for you. We’ll definitely find one!

Is it possible to take the course individually?

Yes, you can take the complete Spanish course for university in Spain individually, fully adapted to you, your pace, and your schedule. We offer private Spanish lesson programs, which receive a special discount as an intensive nearly year-long course.

Are materials included?

Yes, all materials used in the course are included and available to students in the virtual classroom. However, it’s worth noting that our courses have a highly practical focus, which means that many of the materials we use have been designed in-house to make lessons as efficient as possible.

What platforms are used for the classes?

Classes take place on Google Meet. It is a simple and effective option. If any other tool is needed due to student circumstances, we have several alternatives regardless of the country you are in. Connection will not be a problem.

What happens if I can't attend a class?

Attendance is necessary to achieve the goal set by the course. Therefore, we require students to be responsible for their own learning journey. However, if you occasionally cannot attend class, the recordings will be available for 1 week in the virtual classroom.

Will I get a certificate for taking the course?

You can receive a certificate of attendance for the course. An official certified level certificate can only be issued by the Instituto Cervantes or the Official Language Schools (EOI). Not even universities have that authority. Instead, we teach you Spanish and prepare you to pass the necessary exam to certify your level and study in Spain.

Do I have to study on my own?

Yes; although our classes are highly effective and strongly focused on giving you a functional command of Spanish, you must study and practice on your own through listening materials, exercises, and practice tasks that we will suggest. We will help you by answering your questions and, with effort, you will achieve a goal that can transform your entire academic and professional life.

Is there an in-person option?

No, we are a 100% online academy. This allows us to offer specific advantages that in-person courses do not. The most important are flexibility and efficiency in our lessons.

How do classes and schedules work if I live outside Spain?

Our online classes are live and organized in small groups adapted to different time zones (Americas, Asia, and Europe). In addition, all sessions are recorded and available in the virtual classroom. There are two groups available.
