Frequently asked questions about our online beginner group Spanish course (FAQ)

In this section, we aim to address some of the most common questions you may have about our online beginner group Spanish course. Likewise, if you have any other questions, you can write to us or call us; we will be delighted to help you.

Is it possible to start the course without knowing any Spanish?

Yes, this course is designed to start completely from scratch, without knowing a single word of Spanish. At the same time, because the course is focused on practice, you will be able to speak your first words on day one: you will even be able to speak some Spanish right after our free trial lesson.

How are the classes taught? Are there teachers who speak my language?

Online group Spanish classes for beginners are initially taught primarily in English. As soon as possible, we transition to using Spanish exclusively (using adapted, clear, and accessible language that you will easily understand).

However, classes can also be conducted in languages other than English, including French, German, Chinese, or Japanese. If you speak a different native language, let us know your situation and we will do our best to accommodate you. Remember that 1-on-1 online Spanish classes are also always available if you have specific learning needs.

How are the online beginner Spanish course schedules set? What if I am not in Spain?

We have students from Europe, the Americas, and Asia. We offer flexible schedules compatible with time zones across all of these continents, so you are very likely to find a slot that works for you. We strive to accommodate your schedule as much as possible, as our teachers offer morning, afternoon, and evening classes tailored to your local time. Simply select the time that works best for you on our booking calendar and we will take care of the rest.

How long does it take to learn Spanish?

The basic level of Spanish (A1) can be acquired in a short time if the student studies the materials we create during class. Overall, at a pace of 2 hours per week, you can complete level A1 and even reach A2.1 in 6 months. Our method is highly effective; our students consistently share that they progress very quickly and in a very engaging way. Try it for yourself in our free trial class!

How do discounts and cancellations work?

In the case of online group classes, if you cannot attend a lesson, it will be counted as completed, but you will be able to watch the recording in our virtual classroom. Regarding discounts, the course can be free for you if you refer 4 students to your same group. This discount remains valid as long as the group maintains that number of students. If one of your referred friends leaves the course, we will adjust your discount to match the new number of referrals (for example, applying the discount for 3 referred students instead of the original 4).

Before you begin, you can take a 1-hour free trial class. If you like it, it will count as your first lesson within the course plan. If you choose not to continue, you won’t have to pay anything.
